The following are the decisions taken in the council meeting that was held in the Bishop's House on 6 March 2010.
Fr. Sebastian Nagathunkal is appointed as the Principal of St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Baramulla. In charge of the social work project in Baramulla.
Fr. Sebastian Kalappurayil is appointed as the Chairman of the Jammu - Srinagar Diocesan Board of School Education.
Fr. Sebastian Velankanni is transferred to Burn Hall School.
Fr. Suresh Britto is transferred to Leh.
Fr. Aswin Leo is transferred to Vijaypur.
Fr. Santan Dias is appointed as the Vice-Principal of St. Peter's High School, B.C. Road. Continues to be the Co-paster in Mandal.
Fr. Soosai Nathan is appointed as the Secretary to the Bishop.
Fr. Ivan Pereira is appointed as the Treasurer of the Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society.
Fr. Amala Singh is appointed as the Vice-Rector , St. Paul's Seminary, Akalpur.
Fr. Alphonse is appointed as the Director of Maitri Bhavan.
Fr. Mathew Kuzhikattil will continue to help in Burn Hall School.
Fr. Peppin is appointed as the Principal, St. Peter's Higher Secondary, Karanbagh.
Fr. Johnson Mathalikunnel is appointed as the Principal, St. Xavier's Convent Higher Secondary School, kathua.
Fr. Varkey is appointed as the Parish Priest of St. John's Church, Mandal.
Fr. Santhosh Athical will continue to be the Parish Priest of St. Joseph' s Church, Baramulla. Continue to be the Vice-Principal, St. Joseph's School for some more time until further decision.
Fr. Senoj is appoined as the co-pastor, St. Joseph's Church, Baramulla. He is also appointed in St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School.
Fr. Arul Nirmal is permitted to go for a month of Italian Course in Chennai in April 2010. He will help the Bishop as Secretary in the interim period.
Fr. Justin Dhiraviam is permitted to go for course in Social Work in Canada in 2011. He is also chosen as a member of the Diocesan Assessment and Accountability Commission.
Fr. Alphonse is the in-charge to arrange for the Recollection. Monthly Recollection will be held on the second Friday- Saturday of every month.
